TRIBUNE HISTORY
- Chicago Tribune. Started on Metro in 1983. Went to Business and then to Foreign as Latin America Correspondent based in Mexico City. Then went to Moscow for five years and ended up in Los Angeles, first as a correspondent in the the-six person bureau. Ended up as bureau chief and watched the bureau shrink to just two people. It was closed last year.
